The Ministry of Religious Affairs continues to strengthen international educational cooperation relations through the implementation of the Fusha or Standard Arabic Language Communication Course as a result of strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman. A Kesyukuran and Appreciation Ceremony as well as the Presentation of Certificates for the Fusha Arabic Language Communication Excellence Programme for 2025 and the Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme for 2023 to 2024 took place at a shopping complex in Berakas.

The certificates were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. There was also a presentation of certificates to participants of the Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme. The course was designed to strengthen communication skills in Standard Arabic among educators and students through a modern learning approach, guidance from international facilitators, and structured assessments that emphasise the effectiveness of language proficiency. Also present was Her Excellency Erma Said Al Kathiry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.
